Born and raised in Utah, Dr. Bauer graduated from Utah Valley State College in 2005 and the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2009. He spent 4 years of service in the Army where he finished a 1-year program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, and was deployed to Afghanistan for 12 months with the 25th Striker Brigade. Recently separated from the Army, Dr. Bauer now lives in the North Pole area with his wife Jodie and their four young boys. He enjoys volunteering for the boy scouts, camping, hunting, and fishing with his family. Dr. Bauer is honored to provide dental care for the local community and the soldiers and their families stationed at Fort Wainwright & Eielson Air Force Base.

Dr. Peter C. Mortenson grew up in Bozeman, MT. The son of Dr. Dean Mortenson DDS, he grew up surrounded with dentistry. After spending two years in southern Italy as a service missionary with his church, he graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 and attended the University of Utah School of Dentistry. In 2019, he moved to Alaska with his wife and daughter and joined us at the North Pole Dental Workshop. In his spare time Dr. Mortenson enjoys hiking, fishing, playing guitar and reading a good book. His purpose is to "give people a smile" both within the dental office and without. He is grateful to live in the great Fairbanks area and to provide service to the families and service members here.

I enjoy going here for all my dental needs! The two ladies at the front desk were so kind and welcoming, the dentist was rigorous and extremely patient when I was worried about my treatment. The office manager was exceptionally aware of how my insurance covers my treatment and was detailed and sensitive to my worries while explaining my treatment to me. The hygienist were gentle and thorough. The doctor got me in and treated me all in the same day! Amazing place to go!
